# Smart Contract

The PalPaw smart contract incorporates several fundamental aspects to ensure fair and efficient token transactions while introducing innovative features like fee systems and NFT possession options.

**Fee System:**

* No fees are applied for buying and selling the token.
* A 10% fee is applied to token transfers.

**Selling Conditions:**

* To sell the token, the holder must have purchased an amount greater than 10% of their previous holdings within the last 24 hours.
* New wallets (those that have acquired or received the token for the first time) must wait 24 hours before selling.

**Randomized Purchase Program:**

* Each purchase triggers a randomized program that may:
  * Apply a purchase fee ranging from 1% to 20% (medium probability).
  * Enable selling without the 10% purchase condition (low probability).
  * Disable transfer fees for the first transfer (low probability).
  * Do nothing (high probability).

**NFT Possession Option:**

* The token includes an option for NFT possession, which modifies the contract to enable token trading.

These features ensure a dynamic and engaging trading experience for PalPaw token holders, promoting fair transactions and introducing unique opportunities for participation in the ecosystem.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://palpaw-token.gitbook.io/palpaw/token/smart-contract.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
